anyone had issues with iphones where okta SMS messages are blocked or not getting delivered after accidentally being reported as junk?

Thank you for posting on our Community page!
I have done some research and found that reported as Junk messages will forward the sender's information and the message to Apple, as well as delete the message from your device. You can't undo deleting a message.
Reporting junk doesn't block the sender from being able to send another message, though.
Please check if the number is blocked and, if so, unblock it.
For further support, I suggest you contact Apple support or your carrier.

just seems I am getting blocked from getting any okta SMS txt...
This has NOT been a problem for us for the last 2 years we have been using Okta. Below are instructions on how the end users can unblock when this happens on iOS and Android. Having the end user check their block numbers is a good thing to do when they reports not getting MFA codes via SMS.
How to manage blocked SMS:

Here is more documentation on common SMS issues and how to troubleshoot. I was unable to identify any documentation regarding a possible white list of phone numbers for which Okta will send SMS message from in order for you to have your end users know what ones to look for. I suggest you reach out to Okta support to see if they can provide that to you.
