SOARO.99764 (Customer) asked a question.
Why does the sender's phone number that sends the MFA (SMS) verification code change every time?
* DOCOMO is a Japanese telephone company. They will change the sender of those verification codes to "Reject". If the sender is "Reject", it will be treated as junk mail. So the end user asked if he could determine the sender's phone number.

Hi @SOARO.99764 (Customer) - can you tell me more about the end user experience in regards to MFA SMS?
Okta's SMS providers are US based where the primary provider would come from the SenderID "PIN" most times, but if response isn't received/attempt fails from the primary then it fails over to the secondary provider that shows the SenderID as a US number.
Over time(no date set), we would eventually be unifying the SenderId to be consistent between primary and secondary SMS providers so things like trust are maintained.
If you have a suggestion on how we could improve on this, could you please lodge a request through https://ideas.okta.com/ ?
