zkwsw (zkwsw) asked a question.
I recently got an Apple Watch, and the Okta app was automatically installed when I paired the watch with my iPhone. I don't want the app on the watch and thought I had removed it - it is unchecked in the phone's Watch app, and I don't see the app icon on the watch itself. However, I'm still getting notifications on the watch.
How can I completely remove the app from the watch so I only get notifications on my phone?

Hi @zkwsw (zkwsw),
this sounds more like an Apple community question, but you control the notifications on your phone and so currently all your Okta (Verify) requests are sending notifications to your watch.

Are you saying that all iPhone notifications are automatically sent to the watch, even if the corresponding app is not installed? I was not aware of that (again, just got the watch the other day).
Thanks for the info!
That's a good point and would be bit odd if that's the case... If you have that app on your phone then look at the related notifications under the general settings (or iWatch).
Found it - it's a setting in the Watch app on the phone: "Mirror iPhone Alerts From". I can un-check Okta Verify there.
Thanks again.
In the Watch app on your iPhone you can also add/remove the Okta Verify app from your Watch which displays 6-digit authentication codes.
There's a setting called Automatic App Install that can be toggled off/on as well, similar to the notifications.
Thanks - that was actually the first thing I did (remove the app). That's why I was confused about continuing to get the notifications. Didn't realize the iPhone would send notifications to the watch.
