j1504 (j1504) asked a question.
This same issue was raised by Jordan 4 years ago with classic engine. https://support.okta.com/help/s/question/0D51Y00005tHeAkSAK/export-and-import-okta-tenant-configs?language=en_US
We are running into same concern with OIE. We would like to export settings such as Security -> General , check in to our Repository. Apply it in change management process for promotion to production tenant or org or use it track change.
Is this feature available OOTB? Or do we need to develop custom script by Curl & Okta API.

Hi, @j1504 (j1504)
Thank you for posting on our Community page!
For the time being, you would need to create an API custom script for the import/export of tenant configurations. However, this idea is already raised and it currently is on the roadmap for implementation: https://ideas.okta.com/app/#/case/151085?section=requests
You can check the development here: https://support.okta.com/help/s/productroadmap
For more information on API custom scripting, this link should prove useful: https://developer.okta.com/code/rest/
Hope this helps!
Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!

@User16594883467582706479 (Customer Support Online Experience) thank you for the prompt reply. Went through the multiple sections or areas within the product roadmap for development effort. Can't locate any information with regards to export/import global org or app settings / configuration? Can you be a little bit specific with the roadmap.
Many thanks,
robert
