Prevent username update in Okta
We are currently working through an issue with our SalesForce <> Okta integration, and were hoping someone could assist us.
Users names are being updated from Okta well after account creation.
We would like to find a way for user names to not be updated from Okta. This is because many of our employees use names other than their legal name that is listed in Okta, Tony for Anthony for example.
The provisioning settings currently are set to apply the lastname and firstname attribute only on creation, yet we’ve seen examples of them updating months after creation.
Is there another setting we can change to prevent names from being updated?

I have done some research and I found that Okta does not support partial profile push. During a profile update, Okta pushes the app user's full profile, including attributes that are set to Apply mapping on user create only and Do Not map.
