Got new phone and no longer connected with Okta Administrator

Hi there,

I recently got a new phone and have therefore been unable to access Okta. The problem is that I am also no longer connected with my Okta Administrator (as it was linked to my University that I no longer attend), however I continued to use Okta for personal use.

I have contacted my administrator and as I am no longer a student, they have confirmed that they are unable to do anything about resting my MFA.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am now locked out of several accounts! Thanks.

Hello @7bc1z (7bc1z) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

Unfortunately, only Okta administrators can reset the MFA for a user. However if your account is still active, the MFA reset can still be done.

Hope this helps and if this answered your question, please mark this as Best Answer!
