Could anyone speak to the feasibility of 1 domain where individuals self-register, credentials are created in Okta, and then Okta provisions users in a third environment. The goal would be for someone to register on one website and be directed to another website (Salesforce) without needing to access Okta. What would need to happen for the auth token exchange?

Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
I have done some research and your inquiry could be achieved by using a Group Rule to add users automatically to a group that is used for Salesforce assignments and by configuring an IdP to re-direct users to another application.
