Any plans for Integrated Approvers for Okta Groups?
We are running into the complication of managing approvals when users need access to an Okta group. Sometimes users will need a specific Okta group and we will require approval for the group but currently there is no way to assign an approver to an Okta group. Which leads us to managing spreadsheets containing group names and approvers. Is there any plans for an approver field for Okta groups that links to a specific Okta account or group. This would be immensely helpful.
You could piggy-back on Application approval process. Create a dummy application for each group that needs approval.
If you have Okta workflows, you could even add users to the group automatically once they have been assigned the dummy application.
