hybgf (hybgf) asked a question.
We have an onprem MS Dynamics 365 system that we want to integrate with OKTA. I did go over the instructions on how to integrate with WS-Fed protocol. However, our organization does not consider WS-Fed as a standard. We prefer SAML2.0 or OIDC.
While I did find the steps on how to integrate with OKTA on SAML2.0, there is a need for ADFS server used as Service provider federation component.
Is there an alternative to using ADFS in this integration? Our organization is going away from using ADFS at this time and can't approve this type of integration.
What options can we consider?

Thank you for your inquiry Madhavi!
Unfortunately there are no other ways of integrating MS Dynamics CRM with Okta as it only works with WS-Fed.
SAML or OIDC authentication protocols do not work for Dynamics CRM, so as you pointed out this documentation remains the main basis for your integration with Okta:
