Forgot Password without Security/Recovery Question

Hello,

 

Our team's using the OktaClient Node SDK and trying to setup our own Reset Password flow. However, we do not require users to have a Recovery Question, which is mentioned as required in the docs for the forgot password API. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to set this up?

    Hi,

     

    Thank you for reaching out on our community portal.

    You can disable the recovery question as mentioned bellow:

    1. Navigate to Security > Authentication
    2. Under Password, select the password policy in question and click Edit
    3. Under Additional self-service recovery option, disable Security question > Update Policy

    If you don't see the security option here, kindly file a ticket with Okta support,
