3rd Party App Integration (HubSpot, Jira Help Desk etc)

Hi,

We are implementing the Okta SSO for Salesforce and forcing users to use our domain and go thru the Okta app to log in to Salesforce by disabling the standard login provided by Salesforce (HTTPS://login.salesforce.com). Till here everything works fine but before enabling for all use, wanted to know if we do this, then will it affect the existing integration with HubSpot or Jira Help Desk other 3rd party apps, that using a Salesforce User to sync between both systems,

If yes, could you let me know how to overcome that? Appreciate any help.

  • Ionut here with Okta's Customer Support Team, thank you for reaching out to us.

Your other integrations should not be affected in any way, as you are just setting up SAML sign on and/or provisioning to or from Salesforce. This can only negatively impact your other applications if your Salesforce provisioning settings are set to update attributes from user profiles, such as usernames.
