AaronD.30524 (Customer) asked a question.

Trying to map an additional attribute from Active Directory into a 3rd party app from Okta

The attribute shows up on user profiles. The attribute is directOffice. But when trying to map in the 3rd party app to provision the users the attribute does not show in the provisioning section to map. Do we have to map a linked object and if so how do we do that?

You are saying that the attribute "directOffice" is successfully being mapped from AD and to Okta? So are you seeing that attribute value in the Okta user profile?

If so, the attribute that you are seeing can be mapped to the 3rd party app. For instance, if the attribute name in AD is "directOffice" and you named the same in Okta, you should be able to map the value "user.directOffice" to the app.

What do you see on the profile for the users and is it mapped fully in the profile editor from AD to Okta?

    Thanks!!

@AaronD.30524 (Customer) You can direct reference the AD attribute in your application like active_directory.directOffice
