Is there a way to change the default custom attributes for newly added identity providers?
Our use case is that we create SAML connections with many of our customers so that they can use their own active directory to access our application. Most of these connections are either ADFS or Azure AD. The problem that we are encountering is that the default custom attributes in Okta are firstName, lastName, and email. The values that come from active directory are givenname, surname, and emailaddress.
This requires us to manually add these every single time we have a new customer idp integration. Is there any way to modify the default attributes that are used when generating a new idp? So that we don't have to manually do it every time.

Currently is not possible to modify the default attributes before completing a new IDP integration.
You can open a thread in ideas.okta.com to have this taken into consideration as a feature in a future release.
