iOS Notification not working

Up until a few weeks ago, Okta Verify had been working as expected. iOS Notifications were showing up on the iOS lock screen, I would swipe the notification, and respond to prompts and thumbprint and it would perform the authentication step. Now those ios notifications are not showing up at all. I have to unlock the phone, tap/open the okta verify app and then the push notification for authentication is displayed. In fact, if I have the Okta Verify app open on my iphone and then login to a website requiring two factor okta, the push notification doesn't show up. I have to switch to a different app on the iphone and then navigate back to the Okta Verify app at which time the push notification is displayed.

confirmed, a re-installation of the latest okta Verify version 6.3.0.52 resolved the issue. Okta now shows up on my locked screen again

    Hey Todd,

    • Seems like an environmental issue with the IOS device, that's maybe the reason you are not able to see the notification on your Locked Screen or you have a disabled notification for Okta verify on your IOS device.
    • Regarding notification is not displayed even when Okta Verify is opened: try reinstalling the Okta verify app.

If this does not work please open a support ticket with Okta and we will be happy to help you.
