bbzs5 (bbzs5) asked a question.
I'm looking to do a bunch of workflows soon and looking for guidance. We are looking at how to set attributes (to give an example add a user to a github team), and I was thinking of making a group for each github team that I would like to have and add the okta users to the groups (which the workflow would add each user in the group to the github team).
- Is there a better way to do it instead of okta groups?
- Is there a limit on how many groups a user can belong to?
- Is there a limit on how many groups an organization can have?
- Is there a limit on how many users can be in a group?

Thank you for contacting Okta Support. My name is Cezar and I will be helping with your queries.
No, groups and group rules are the fastest way of achieving your desired flow.
No
No, but free trials have specific limitations.
No

A group Limitation I have came across till now is something below,
Agentless DSSO does not work if a single user has memberships to more than 600 security groups. If a user with more than 600 security groups implements or migrates Agentless DSSO, a 400 response appears and they are redirected to the regular sign in page.
The above might not help in your case but posting the below for a refernce where its stated as 200
