Hello,
I recently installed Okta Verify for the first time, and I was having an issue where the app wouldn't react to any of my taps on the screen - the app is not frozen, and my codes keep changing every 30 seconds as usual, but the buttons don't seem to respond. Restarting the app does nothing, although restarting the phone temporarily fixes the problem with the app working normally again.
My phone is a european Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) running Android 8, and it is rooted.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi @foexk (foexk) , The first thing I recommend to you is to update your phone with android version 10 since you recently download the Okta Verify, the newest version. Once you updated your android version try again to use the app; let us know the result.
Hello @qvn65 (qvn65), thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, my phone is quite an old one and doesn't support Android 10. I tried to install it when I rooted the phone, but quickly went back to Android 8, as I was having severe performance issues that had made the phone virtually unusable. For this reason, I was hoping to find a fix that does not require changing my Android version - plus, Okta verify should be supported for Android 7+.
Hello @bt1t3 (bt1t3), Unfortunately, OKta does not have a fix for this situation where the user has an old phone with an old version of O.S and. also is rooted.
As you know, rooted does not mean you did something wrong with your phone, but it may alter the O.S functions or other functions, and that could cause the phone not to work properly. So based on this, I recommend you put your phone as a factory reset. And then try to install the Okta verify 6.1.1 (Android compatibility Android 7.1+ (Nougat))
Let us know the result.
