Okta verify and screen recording

Hi, recently adopted Okta. We have been having some issues with Okta Verify app when it comes to MFA with a Pulse VPN. Not the main thrust of question. I had developed a work around. What I was attempting to do was a screen recording on my phone. Okta - like all the other authenticators I have (Duo, 365/MS, and Google) will black out the screen. Some (Duo/365) have a setting to allow to record. I do not see a similar for Okta (ie no settings). I am not sure if I am looking in the wrong location, or if it simply is not an option. Can we confirm? I find that for our 1300 users, they like videos. Thank you.

  • Hi @DanK.08664 (Customer) ,

Which version of Okta Verify are you using? Also, is this on iOS or Android? I just did a screen recording on iOS using the latest public version of Okta Verify, and it wasn't blacked out. I'll try to reproduce this as well with more details.

    Thanks!

    Tim
