A mobile app on my phone is coming up with this message (Field Service Lightning, from Salesforce). My IT admin says it is Salesforce related. Salesforce says it is IT related. The message comes up after log-in, requires me to Create and then Verify a 4 digit Passcode, and then kicks me back to the log-in screen.
My company does use Okta. Also, other users are able to log into the app on their phone without issue.

From the description of the case it seems that you are prompted to use an MFA for the app that you are using and the question to increase security is from a policy rule that requires the users to changed the password after a period of time.
