Cisco SD-WAN VManage Integration
I have configured Cisco SD-WAN VManage portal integration as per the following knowledge base document:

I am getting username password error and page is redirected to following url:
https://vmanage_ip_address/loginError.html
But if I remove "loginError.html" from the URL and refresh the page; it logins into the vmanage dashboard.
Any clue why it's redirecting to loginError.html for the first time?

From the description I will assume this is a Identity Provider initiated flow. So you are using the icon on the dashboard to authenticate to the service provider but are getting a <invalid username/password> error. Yet when using a different URL the SAML assertion received by the browser is given to the service provider and you are successfully logged in.
It seems there is a problem with step 4 of the bellow IdP initiated flow:

As you are using the correct documentation I would suggest using SAML trace to verify the flow and also checking the SSO URL, Recipient URL and Destination URL. Documentation bellow for SAML trace:
