ap59h (ap59h) asked a question.
We have an on-prem AD and use Okta for O365 and a few other applications.
We're re-branding company so we need to change our Okta sub-domain.
Is it easier to change the sub-domain, or setup a new one and re-create/migrate to it?
Okta apparently can't "schedule" a sub-domain change so bar based on my correspondence with them, which has me a wee bit worried.

As far as I know, you can't change the sub domain once created. I think you can create a new one & migrate the configurations/objects. Okta support team can help you with migration.

They do allow it and have an article here (https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/Renaming-your-Okta-Subdomain).
If I do the new domain approach and migrate, can I have Active Directory sync to both places to make it easier?
We were, at one point, in the same position. Based on the number of apps we have, we would choose/chose to get a new org and migrate the apps to the new org. In the interim, you could create an Ord2Org relationship to make the transition a little more seamless.
