New attibutes value when creation user
Hi everyone,
I would like to know if it's possible to add a new attribute by default on the user creation window.
In my example.
I want to have the attribute "City" always filled-in when creation an user.
When a go to Okta Profil Editor I cannot check the checkbox "Attribute required".
So my question are:
- Is it possible to add an new attribute on the user creation window ? (Like City, Position, etc)
- Is it the right way to do it ?
- Do I need Okta LDAP feature to be able to check "Attribute required" ?

I too would like to know the answer to this. I am about to change my LDAP integration from LDAP mastering Okta with password delegation to Okta mastering LDAP passwords and attributes. It would be very useful to have certain fields auto-populate.
I contacted Okta support and here what they have wrote me:
"For the Okta base attributes, we are unable to change if the attribute is required or not - this is by design and hard-coded. We can only change it for the custom attributes at this time. I would recommend submitting this functionality as a new feature via the following link https://ideas.okta.com. "
How basic feature it is. I wonder why it hasn't been implemented yet.
