JuanS.53128 (Customer) asked a question.

Box.com and Okta Integration - Users without a Box license are unable to collaborate as external users

Because Box.com and our Okta environments are tied together, our users without a Box license are unable to collaborate as external users. Speaking with box.com support, they mentioned there is not really a workaround to this other than buying each one of our users that wants to collaborate with external entities using box.com a license. Are there any other suggestions out there? Thanks!

This is more of Box license limitation - If you send a collaboration invitation to a person without a Box account, Box prompts that person to sign up with Box before being able to access the content.

Okta cant help you here as this box licensing issue.
