I'm using the free version of customer idp, and when going to the email & sms customisation settings, I'm unable to edit the emails. The message states "A custom email template already exists for the selected language." I have tried with a brand new dev instance and the same thing happens, can I not edit the email templates in a free version?

That's correct. From the Test Custom Email Templates section, "Free trial editions of Okta cannot create or send customized email templates."

Hi, may I add another comment to this. I'm really really surprised by the answer. On the Dev Pricing Page (https://developer.okta.com/pricing/) it clearly states that free accounts can use e-mail templates. How does that align with the fact that I can't customize email templates according to your answers?
