Unable to sign into Octa Verify after resetting my phone

Hi,

I had to factory reset my phone and after that I launched Octa verify to log in but it requested a bar code to log in, I tried to reset the verification process online (as I can log in into my account) but it always sends a verification request to my phone which is going through the process again and I'm stuck now. help

    Is the O365 verification request coming from Okta or from O365? Once you re-enrolled your device in Okta Verify, you should be able to use it anywhere in Okta that prompts for MFA. However, if your O365 admin enabled MFA in O365, you will also need to re-enroll your device in O365 - that wouldn't be Okta Verify, but most likely either SMS or Microsoft Authenticator).

    Okta Verify enrollment needs to be rest by Admin in this type of scenario -

    7. How do I know if I need to reset my Okta Verify enrollment?

     

    If you run into any of the following scenarios, you may need to reset Okta Verify yourself or ask your IT admin to reset it for you:

    • You set up Okta Verify already but accidentally deleted the app from your phone or had to wipe and reset your device.
    • You set up Okta Verify on your old phone but want to use a new phone instead.
    • You're stuck in an authentication loop where the web browser instructs users to consult the Okta Verify app but the app does not receive a push notification or display a one-time code.
    • You can't sign in to your account even if you enter the correct passcode from the app or approve a pop-up notification sent to your device.
    • You keep receiving a verification code error in the Okta Verify app.
    • After you or your admin resets your Okta Verify enrollment, your phone will no longer be enrolled with your Okta account so you'll need to set it up again from the beginning.
    • To reset your account, follow the steps in Reset Okta Verify.

    Thanks for your answer, I managed to reset it and started using the phone app, the problem I'm having now is that every-time I verify my log in to Microsoft Office 365 I get asked to very again and again. Hence I am unable to log in into any Office applications

    The verification request is actually coming from O365, but I checked the same process with any other app on my Mac and it works fine apart from Outlook App which to me shows that the issue is with O365 on Outlook
