JacobD.07175 (Customer) asked a question.

Create an email activation link that does not log in the user

We are using a customized okta hosted widget with a custom URL which allows self-service registration.

Under the default activation, an email is sent to the user after they enter a password. Then they are immediately logged in when they click the link in the email, and they are taken to the app they started with. The link generated is something like:

https://customsub.mysite.com/tokens/D2FCmxgQdrXr3WxIzZW-/verify?

I would like to modify the link in the email so that it verifies the email, requires a password entry, and then takes the user to the app where they originated.

The email template states:

"This email template must contain either ${registrationActivationLink} or ${registrationActivationToken}"

I thought maybe I could use the token but I can't seem to figure it out. I looked here for variables but haven't been able to stitch something together:

Thanks.
