API Endpoint for Refreshing Application Data Required

Our account provisioning process for AWS is fully automated - except for access via Okta.

It's have to manually trigger the 'Refresh Application Data' and I can't find any reference to this option in the API.

I saw a similar post from August 2019 (https://support.okta.com/help/s/question/0D51Y00006aCahs/automate-refresh-application-data) which just said:

"I'm afraid that we cannot automate that, a manual action is required in order to perform this operation. This should be triggered when expecting new roles or licenses to be available on the SP side. "

Is there a technical limitatoin for why it has to be a manual action?

Can you log a feature request for it?

It takes away our ability to provision AWS accounts automatically as we have to wait for the team with Okta access to action the request.

  • HI Gareth, thanks for raising this point. Did you know that we have a feature request platform called Okta Ideas? If you go to ideas.okta.com, you can search for and vote on existing ideas, and submit new ones.
