JordanJ.26599 (Customer) asked a question.

Desktop MFA Option

Who all out there is using some sort of desktop/Windows 10 application to work with MFA? I realize the security concerns with having a desktop OTP client, but our current user base is used to a desktop client with our current IdP. We are getting a lot of friction from our contracted entities who don't have company cell phones and aren't willing to enroll Okta Verify on their personal device. I see Okta supports a lot of options but none jump off the screen as having a desktop component. SMS/Voice/Email is not an option as we have a need to continue with RADIUS for OTP for some of the technology these entities access.

Any help would be appreciated!

There are numerous desktop utilities or even browser add-ins that are compatible with the Google Authenticator MFA factor. WinAuth and Authy are two that I'm familiar with, and both work on Windows 10.
