Okta Verify web version

Currently we have Okta Verify mobile app for the unique code. Is there a web version of Okta Verify available? Having web version along with mobile app is good for back-up whenever there is an issue with user's phone and user will be blocked logging in and thus, work is impacted.

No, this does not currently exist. The same suggestion was posted recently as well, so maybe someone should post this as an Okta Idea. You can also consider allowing additional factors so users are not limited to Okta Verify if they have an issue.

What was the intent behind making Okta Verify only mobile app based? Because mobile is personal asset and code is used to login to office servers which is business asset. How personal asset was decided to be used for access business asset? Personal asset may not be as secure as compared to business asset, right?

It's not about personal vs business asset but more about providing the additional security of multi-factor authentication. If you are concerned about the security of company data access via mobile devices you should look into either managing the personal devices or providing a company owned and managed device.

My personal security stance is to disallow software tokens and absolutely require the physical device separation. If a user's machine were to be compromised, and a soft token is present, it would be very easy to compromise the environment further.
