Okta verify latest version crashes on iPhone 12 (IOS 14.3)
After updating the latest version of Okta verify, I tried to login in my school account by Okta verify push and I did get a notification on my phone. I long-press it and selected 'Yes, it's me'. However, the website showed that it did not get the push. I tried to open the Okta verify to use code to login in my account and I found out that the app always stuck at the launch screen and crashed after about 20 seconds. The Okta verify cannot be opened any more. Reinstall the application is time-consuming because I need to contact IT staff to reset everything. Is there any solution to solve it?
I ran into the same issue this morning. Okta Verify was updated to 6.1.2 two days ago on my iPhone 12 Pro (iOS 14.3). As of this morning the app would repeatedly crash on me and I could not successfully authenticate as a result. I had to reset the MFA option for my account and reinstall Okta Verify before it would start working again.

Sorry for the trouble! We updated Okta Verify to 6.1.3 on the Apple AppStore and it should address this issue. If you still see this issue, or if the issue is resolved, please let us know.

Hi Tim,
We are seeing a similar issue in our environment. The end user is using Okta Verify 1.7.2 on an iPhone X running iOS 14.4. The app crashes when trying to confirm her identity. It was working previously.
The user has rebooted her iPhone, deleted and reinstalled Okta Verify, and it does not help.
Note: after the clean install, we were able to get Okta Verify to launch, and we went through the steps of scanning the QR code, but trying to authenticate after a push causes Okta Verify to crash.
As a workaround, she is using SMS Authentication.
