rkfqu (rkfqu) asked a question.

Automation Workflow Process

I'm currently using the Automation Workflow to disable users (based on certain user groups) who haven't logged within 30 Days. We send out an email informing the user to log into Okta or the account will be disabled. After 45 days of no access the account is deleted.

We don't use the Okta UI for any access into the 40+ applications tied into Okta. We are only SP initiated. So my question is.... "Is the automation workflow based on a User logging into Okta UI or is there coding in the background that recognizes a user authenticating against Okta through an SP initiated request"?

  • Hi Curtis,

Thank you for posting your question!

Users who log in to Okta even with SP initiated will still log in the Syslog. So you should be able to see that in the Syslog.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

If you need assistance with your automation workflows, please open a support case.

    Regards,

    Aydel
