Apple Watch OS 5.3 issues (Okta no longer alerting on Apple Watch)

I have an iPhone 6s with an AppleWatch 4 (updated to WatchOS 5.3 a couple days back) and for some reason, my authentication alerts are no longer appearing on the Watch. Is anybody else having problems receiving alerts on a Watch running 5.3?

    So.... I fixed it, but may have taken the long way. Here's what I did

    1. Disconnect my iPhone Okta from my Okta account
    2. Delete the app from my phone (and watch)
    3. Turn off the iphone and the watch
    4. Turn on the iphone only, and reinstall the app
    5. Reconnect the iPhone Okta to my Okta account
    6. Turn on the watch (which reinstalled Okta with a working connection already in place on the phone)

     

    I think (but not sure) that the key was to install and configure Okta properly before turning on the watch.
