When a user enables the Okta plugin on there internet explorer browser. the browser opens and then closes after 10 seconds. also does not load a home page

Is IE still supported?
I'm having a similar issue on one of my user's machines where as soon as you enable the Okta plugin, Internet Explorer crashes.
