ChiragP.44799 (Customer) asked a question.

Dynamic single sign-on url

We have single sign-on URL with dynamic query parameter for different client.

eg. https://one.example.com/signin-smal2?clientid= dynamciClientId

But I am not able to setup sign sign-on/Recipient URL in the SAML settings with dynamic parameter.

When client wants to add our application , I was assuming they will provide their own clientid.

  • Hello Chirag,

This might be possible if you are integrating an app you have built with Okta, as in the multi tenancy architecture, where a user will specify the domain and will be populate based on the different tenant used.

Depending on the path you'll take you will either need to reach out to the OIN manager ( if you are building an in house application to be added to Okta's OIN).
