Disable multi session on multiple device

Hello, is it possible to disable multi session of a single user on different devices?

I either want to block the connexion of a unique user on another device or force logout a user who's connected elsewhere.

Does Okta have a solution for that?

  • Hi Nicolas,

     

    Okta does not currently have a means of imposing unique sessions for user authentications on your org. The Okta session lifetime is defined by your org policies, but there are no options to verify if a user has an active session on one device and authenticates again from a different device.

     

    If you would like to see this functionality included in the future, I recommend creating a Feature Request. This can be done on the Okta Community page by using the 'Feedback' option at the bottom of the Okta admin console, once on the Community page go to Ideas -> Post Idea.
