Okta and PeopleSoft multiple sessions

Our PeopleSoft environment is SSO enabled via Okta. Users are seamlessly logging in to multiple sessions as long as they are using the same PeopleSoft application (say HR for example). But, when users try to access, for example, PeopleSoft Finance while logged in to PeopleSoft HR, the authentication process is not triggered again. That results into errors thrown at the user. Is there a way to force okta re-authentication when users try to access a different PeopleSoft application while logged in to a different one?
