    Thank you for reaching Okta support today.

    If you are referring at an Okta user you can use the suspend option instead of deactivating.

    If you are referring at a Salesforce user, you have to have a Salesforce integration with provisioning enabled in Okta, once you deactivate the app In Okta it will deactivate users in Salesforce and then you can manually set the users in the Freeze state.

Freeze Salesforce user
