Currently Okta only only manages session lifetimes for IDP initiated sessions.
We'd like the session lifetime to be applied for active sessions in Gsuite as well (e.g. the same way it works for Okta/AWS right now)

Thank you for reaching out to Okta's Support community! Unfortunately, we do not see an enhancement for controlling GSuite session durations on the product roadmap, however, if you do wish to see this available in the future I would recommend submitting a feature request. The best way to file feature requests would be from here: https://support.okta.com/help/s/ideas
Once feature requests are submitted they are visible to other Okta admins, who can vote on them to provide more visibility. Using this method will allow you to maintain visibility on your feature requests throughout the process.
