Jira Cloud SAML with integrations (i.e. Slack, Github)

Hello community,

I have successfully implemented SAML with Atlassian cloud which we have recently migrated from on-premise server.

We have multiple integrations with apps like Slack and Github.

Does anyone know how those apps will integrate with Jira cloud now that we have moved to SAML?

Sorry for such a vague inquiry, but I am just throwing this out there to see if anyone has experience in this area.

Thanks!

    Hello Rocky,

Slack, Github or other integrations shouldn't get affected by the implementation of SAML SSO to your Atlassian Cloud, as Slack integrations work using webhooks, which are basically URL endpoints for posting messages on Slack's end.

The only integrations that might be affected are those that use some sort of credentials on Atlassian's side, you can create an Atlassian account that isn't linked to SAML.

    Best regards,

    Hi Andrei,

Thanks for your response! Do you know how to create an Atlassian account that can bypass SAML and the redirect to Okta?
