3rd Party Email Clients for G Suite GMail
I am trying to set up a 3rd Party email client to connect to my Gmail (within G Suite) that has authentication through Okta.  I have tried macOS Mail as well as Airmail 3 and both complete the setup of the account via the Google/Okta portal (complete with the request for the 6 digit code) but, after setup complete, the account will not download mail and presents and authentication error.  Are there supported email clients that will be able to connect to Gmail accounts backed by Okta?

    Have you tried using Microsoft Outlook to setup your gmail account there? The integration should work properly.

    That does not seem to work either.  The same is true for my iPhone configuration as well (running iOS 10).  Neither calendar nor mail work with the default calendar/mail configuration for G-Suite.   Jason Hoss

    Have you  resolve this issue? I am about to roll out Gmail with Okta and I have a bunch of MAC users using native cllient and Outlook as well. Thanks, Gabby

    This really needs to get solved. Most of our users either use MS Outlook or someother email client besides the web client from Google.

    The issue was related to the GSuite configuration and not Okta.
