Hi community,
When creating a user in our system we send an Invitation email with the 'Activation link'. Clicking the link, user is prompted to set up the password for his account.
However, we can have customers using their own Okta or a 3rd party IdP. And, in order to catch the users created for this type of customer we validate if there is a rule set up in Okta for the defined domain. In case there is that rule, we would like the User to receive a different email, that should contain a link to complete the registration by login in with their organization's password.
I have noticed that there are AD User Activation and LDAP User Activation emails, that could be used for such cases. However, can't find the one we could use for the customers with other IdPs like Okta, Amazon, Google, etc.

This is currently not supported. I think that the assumption is that users with a 3rd party IDP would be activated in that particular app and would just be added to Okta via JIT Provisioning when they log in, so there would be no need for activation notifications from the Okta side. But I guess that could be said of AD/LDAP users as well...
You can suggest this type of implementation as a Feature Enhancement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.
