MFA users who don't want to use their phone
I'm trying to replace RADIUS/RSA soft tokens (installed on our PCs) with SAML/Okta Verify/SMS for my SSL VPN. Is anyone else heavily using Verify/SMS? How do you handle the user(s) who wont use a personal phone?

Oktans - any plans for a Windows/Mac Verify client?

We use Verify, and for those who can't/won't use their phone, we've been buying them Yubikeys. They're pretty convenient, but require more setup than Verify.
  • Hi Mark,

There are currently no plans on the roadmap to develop a Windows or Mac Verify client, but you can suggest this idea on the Okta Community portal. You can suggest this by using the 'Suggest a feature' option at the bottom of the Okta admin console.

As for how to handle users who won't or can't use a personal phone, implementing another factor would be my recommendation.

    Thank you,

Thanks Steve - I'm also looking into Yubikeys, but man going back to managing hard tokens seems like a step backwards.
