MichaelM.23774 (Customer) asked a question.

Question about Radius MFA support

Howdy all, we have implemented a radius installation through our checkpoint software using 2fa and it works just fine.

However, we have a number of users who don't want to install the app on their phones and the company doesn't want to force the issue.

Is it possible to use the desktop version of Okta Verify as the 2nd prompt rather than the mobile app version? Whenever we've tried in testing the system just prompts us for an sms number and then sends the install link for the mobile app.

I've combed through the radius and the MFA documentation but it seems a bit light on the desktop version and when in radius is says "Okta Verify is supported" it doesn't really make a distinction.

Is this a configuration that is supported or am I being asked to bark up a dead tree, to coin a phrase?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @MichaelM.23774 (Customer) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

At this time, Okta verify for windows in not supported.

However you can add a Feature Request on our Idea section, for a chance that this functionality to be added in the future.
