How can I prevent users get locked for failed login attempts?
I have a group with 4 users, and they just give the application their password from Okta MFA Verify app. So, the application tries to login with all the 4 users at the same time; however, this causes to lock the rest of the users after some failed attempts.

Is there any configuration to apply on this?

  • Hey Oscar,

It sounds like the accounts get locked if they fail to authenticate one too many times.

I would suggest to review the password policies setup in Okta for both Okta and AD mastered users, increase the number of attempts before lockout and ensure self service account unlock is available for your users.

For a more in depth setup analysis I would recommend reaching out to the support team.

    Thank you,
