Hi,
See screen shot below. I no longer work for my former employer who used Okta, so my account has been deactivated. Therefore, I no longer have a need to use Okta. Yet, I keep getting this log in screen popping up. How do I keep it from continually popping up?

Hi! Great question.. I think you may best be served however by reaching out to your former IT department responsible for their implementation of Okta, particularly if you are dealing with software that has been installed or configured in a customized way.
If that is not ideal, my next question is what actions are causing this pop up to present itself? Are you attempting to login to O365 with your former company email (i.e. company domain.com)? If that is the case, their domain is tied to Okta so logins to anything at “company domain.com” will re-direct to Okta for authentication.
If that is not the case, and you are logging in with a different account, you may have cached or stored credentials on your machine that is attempting to re-authenticate for your apps (word, excel, etc). Or perhaps your client on your local machine (e.g. Mail) has been configured to attempt to pull-down email and it can’t because your account has been deactivated.
I would definitely recommend “cleaning” out anything associated with your former employer on your machine too, just to reduce the possibility of you running into something similar in the future. I do hope some of this helps and thanks for asking!
