How is an Active Directory password passed to iOS/Android mail apps?
Specifically, if I am using delegated authentication ( Okta account is my AD account ), how is my AD password passed to Outlook or Native OS (iOS and Android) mail app?   How is this password updated for the app on the device on AD password change?   Is the process similar if Delegated Authtication is NOT being used?     Is Okta leveraging the irreversible password hash mentioned here?:

Jim,  Thanks for the response.   Here is what I found: "Okta Mobility Management automatically keeps Exchange ActiveSync accounts up to date when users change their AD passwords."   Is there a technical article or other reference dcoument or explanation on how this is done?  I am looking for some deeper technical details.

    Thanks!
