Last Updated:
Overview
When provisioning to Zscaler Private Access 2.0 the following error may be encountered:
Automatic provisioning of user to app Zscaler Private Access 2.0 failed: Error while verifying if user exists: Multiple users found by userName. Expected 0 or 1 results but was 2
Applies To
- Zscaler Private Access 2.0
- Okta Identity Engine (OIN)
- Provisioning
Cause
This is due to the User already existing in the Zscaler application and they must be deleted in order to be properly provisioned from Okta.
Solution
- Please contact Zscaler Support for assistance in deleting the affected accounts using the Zsclaer API Calls.
- Once the deletion is confirmed by Zscaler Support team, please have Okta Admin to retry the failed Zscaler app assignment from Okta Admin Console > Dashboard > Tasks page or unassign/reassign the app to the impacted user in Okta and confirm they have been successfully provisioned and there is no app assignment error.
