Steps to Access the Okta Support Center for Customers with Custom Domains

Overview

Admins who have custom domains and are trying to access the Okta Support Center via their Admin Console currently see an error page. Below is a temporary workaround that allows these customers to access the Okta Support Center.

 

Okta is working on a solution, and will come back with more information.

Solution
  1. Click the “?” icon in the Admin Console and go to the Okta Support Center.

Click the “?” icon in your Admin Console and go to the Okta Help Center

  1. Continue with Okta Workforce Identity Cloud.

Click Okta Workforce Identity Cloud

  1. Instead of selecting the custom domain, click Find your organization.

Click “Find your organization”

  1. Enter the non-custom okta org subdomain and add -admin, it should be the same as the on in the URL when looking in the admin console. If the non-custom okta org subdomain is companyX, then enter companyX-admin.

Enter your non-custom okta org subdomain and add “-admin”

  1. Upon clicking Continue, successful login to the Okta Support Center is achieved.
