How to Change Brand Name

Overview

This article explains how to change the brand name for a previously configured brand within the Admin Console.

  • Brand Name
  • Default Domain
  • Custom Domain
Solution

 

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to Customization > Brands.
  3. Click the Brand in question.
  4. Navigate to the Settings Page
  5. The Brand name box contains the Name setting.
  6. Once edited, click Save.
    • The brand name will be reflected in the drop-down menu of the Okta End-User Dashboard.

NOTE: Please be aware that when using Okta Workflows, the domain change will not be reflected in the Workflow Console user interface. While the domain will be updated for all Workflow requests, the UI will continue to display the default domain that was present when Workflows were initially activated for the tenant. This is expected and will not affect Workflow functionality.
