Overview
The purpose of this article is to provide a resolution for the lack of validations in the sign-in widget login fields.

Cause
The Sign-In Widget pages does not have field validations like:
- Login Page
- Forgot Password Page
- Unlock Account Page
Solution
The Okta Sign-In Widget does not have built-in form validation functionality. To customize the validation field's input field validation during login, password recovery, or account unlock, a custom code is needed.
This type of customization is only possible for the Okta Hosted pages when using a custom domain/brand.
