Applies To

  • Egnyte SCIM 2.0
  • Provisioning
  • Group Push
  • Error

Cause

The group push failed because some users with the given id, as stated in the Okta system log error message, were not found.

Solution

  1. The group cannot be pushed unless all the users in the group are already in the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 application.
  2. A pushed user must be active in Okta, must be assigned to the application, must be part of the Okta pushed group, and must be provisioned and active on the application side.
  3. Please validate the following for the users of the affected Push Group:
  • The user has an active account on the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 side.
  • The user's Username on the application assignment in Okta matches the value in the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 app.
  • The user's External Id on the application assignment in Okta matches the value in the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 app.
  • The user account was not updated or changed on the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 side.

 4. Validate all the users of the affected Push Group and make sure all the users are provisioned successfully to Egnyte
SCIM 2.0, then go to Okta Admin Console and navigate to Applications > Egnyte SCIM 2.0 > Push Groups,
and attempt the group push again.
